Qualifying: All teams invited to participate in this year's regional qualifier have participated in a Twilight Golf Doubles League at a participating host course. 1st place teams as well as top-rated teams within each team category (Mens, Womens, Mixed and Seniors) are eligible. Teams who finish in 1st place in their respective team category will receive an invite to play in the 2025 Doubles Golf National Championship at The Bears Club in Jupiter, FL (October 27th-October 28th) for two days, 27-holes of competition. Co-hosted by Jack Nicklaus.

Format: Two-player scramble (Doubles Golf): The team will mark its chosen drive, then may lift, clean, and place the ball within one club-length on either side of the original mark, no closer to the hole. This process continues for each team’s shots until the ball has been holed.

Tees: Men’s: Blue tees, Ladies: Red tees

Marking Selected Ball: A ball may be moved to different playing conditions using the one club-length rule (rough to fairway), but under no circumstances may this free relief be used to remove a ball from a penalty area, sand bunker or onto a green.

Out of Bounds: If a team chooses a selected ball that is out of bounds, proceed under the rule for lateral water hazard (under no circumstance can you play a ball that is out of bounds).

Finishing a Hole: Players must hole out (no gimmies). Once a ball is holed, even if the second player has yet to putt, the score of the ball holed becomes the official score. Max score is Double Bogey on each hole.

Lost Ball: If both players lose a ball, proceed with one penalty stroke and distance (return to the spot from which the original ball was last played).

Water Hazard: Players may play from within a water hazard. The rule for playing out of a water hazard in Doubles Golf is first player plays the ball as it lies, 2nd player places the ball within a club head either side only. Should the team decide to take relief from the hazard, USGA rules apply with a one stroke penalty.

Tiebreakers: USGA scorecard matching will be used in the event of any ties. Last 9 holes will be the first tie breaker, last 6 holes if still tied, last 3 holes, last 1 hole.
